WNC Magazine - Nov/Dec issue - Outdoors Feature

Had a great time shooting this one with Graham Averill, who wrote the story and is the assistant editor at Blue Ridge Outdoors. The caves were awesome and a challenge to shoot, considering the enveloping darkness. For the lead image we painted the inside walls with light, both tungsten and led, which yielded a nice effect.

This week I received exciting news. The Vietnam Relief Effort has accepted my proposal to travel with their group to Ben Tre in the south, and to Phu Yen in the central highlands of Vietnam, photographing the schools that they have built and the children who graciously occupy them.
